Report:£50 million star from Leicester, is reportedly West Ham’s main target this summer.

West Ham United have reportedly identified Leicester City star Harvey Barnes as a top transfer target this summer.

Leicester attacker Harvey Barnes is firmly on the radar of West Ham ahead of the summer transfer window according to the Daily Mail, and Aston Villa are eyeing up a move for him as well.

Hammers boss David Moyes will be very keen to strengthen his wide attacking ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

The order of the day will be to sign someone with explosive pace – something that we really lack as a team right now.

And Moyes apparently has his eye on a player who really does have that in abundance…

West Ham eyeing bold Harvey Barnes swoop

The Daily Mail reckon that the Hammers are really interested in signing the 25-year-old Leicester winger.

However, the Foxes will allegedly demand a whopping £50 million for the ultra talented attacker.

In my opinion, we could probably pick him up for a bit less than that if Leicester get relegated and Barnes pushes for a move. But even if he costs £50 million, he’d be more than worth it in my opinion.

Barnes is direct in the way that he plays and always has his opposing full-back on the back foot. The Leicester ace is absolutely rapid, possesses exceptional technique and is strong with both feet.

The 25-year-old has bagged 12 goals in 33 Premier League games for Leicester so far this season – a fantastic return (Transfermarkt).

Harvey Barnes can play anywhere along the front-line, and that kind of versatility will undoubtedly really appeal to West Ham boss David Moyes. It makes his £50 million price-tag seem like better value as well.

I would absolutely love it if the Hammers signed the Foxes attacker this summer. He would take us to a whole new level inside the final third.
