The Toffees are ‘increasingly confident’ of signing Adams despite that rival Premier League interest.

That may well be his final major action as a Southampton player with Everton now on the verge of a deal.

Che Adams can provide Everton boost after Aston Villa hammering

This has been a very testing day for Everton fans.

The Toffees were smashed 4-0 away at Aston Villa, meaning it’s two defeats and two goalless displays from Sean Dyche’s men.

What Is Che Adams Net Worth?

Shambolic defending was on show at Villa Park and Everton only managed two shots on target; hardly a recipe for success.

Dyche will now hope that Adams can provide a real boost to the Everton fanbase and some goals down the line.

The 27-year-old is a robust and hard-working striker who has been a real nuisance for defenders over the years.

25 goals across four Premier League seasons may not sound amazing but he can surely chip in with some goals for the shot-shy Toffees.

Everton is even one of Adams’ middle names, so this one feels like fate to an extent.

The former Birmingham City ace – hailed as ‘terrific’ by former Scotland international Ally McCoist – will now give Dyche another attacking option and will hopefully help end the goal drought.
