Club’s Sporting Director Proud To Have Celtic Loan Duo
Flyeralarm Admira sporting director Peter Stoger has expressed the club’s delight at signing the Celtic duo of Tobi Oluwayemi and Matthew Anderson on loan.
Oluwayemi, a 20-year-old goalkeeper, and 19-year-old left-back Anderson, have joined the Austrian outfit on a season-long loan deal.
The goalkeeper made his England Under-20 debut last year and Anderson is a Scotland Under-21 international and was the captain of Celtic’s reserve side.
Celtic are hopeful that the two players get regular senior football at Admira this season in order to further develop going forward.
Stoger believes it is a matter of immense pride that a club of Celtic’s size and stature have entrusted his club with two of their young talents.
He insisted that the Austrian outfit have signed two exciting young players who have already experienced international football at youth level.
Stoger told the club’s official website: “We’re proud that a prestigious club like Celtic entrust us with these players to help them develop.
“It shows that we are on the right track with our philosophy.
“These are two young and very exciting guys.
“The two have already gained experience in various British youth national teams and will definitely help us further.”
Celtic will hope that the duo return to the club at the end of the season a little more ready for first-team challenges at Parkhead.

Celtic legend Kenny Dalglish has lauded striker Kyogo Furuhashi after scoring yet another derby goal last weekend.
The Japanese forward now has six goals in ten appearances against the club’s arch-rivals follow his sumptuous strike past Jack Butland.
He has marked himself out as the most dangerous player in Scotland over the last two-and-a-bit seasons.
Signed for just £4m from Vissel Kobe in his native Japan, Kyogo’s significant contributions have landed multiple trophy successes and earned the club millions from UEFA Champions League qualification.
Dalglish reckons it’s one of the best bargains Celtic have ever had.
He stated in his Sunday Post column [10/09 print edition]: “I need to commend the winning goal from Celtic’s Kyogo. It was an outstanding strike and just reaffirmed again what a wonderful talent he is. At a transfer fee of around £4m, he is one of the transfer bargains of the millennium.
“Last Sunday showed, once again, that Celtic are the team to beat and will not give up their title lightly. They have quality players and a winning mentality. Led by captain Callum McGregor, they know what it takes to be successful.”
Kyogo already has three goals from his first five games this season and only a fool would bet against him once against threatening the 30-goal mark in all competitions come the end of the campaign.
If he can stay injury-free, Celtic will always have a match-winner in the team. The Japanese star is quite rightly a sensation with supporters and hopefully we all see more evidence of why over the coming weeks at home and abroad.
The next step is showing what he can truly do in the Champions League group stage after last year’s frustrations.
