The Hoops went into the international break on a huge high after defeating Rangers as they return to domestic matters this weekend at home to newly promoted Dundee.
Celtic are back in domestic action this weekend against Dundee following the international break.
The Hoops signed off from the first section of fixtures on a huge high as they defeated Rangers in the first Old Firm derby of the season at a packed out Ibrox full of home supporters. Kyogo Furuhashi, as he so often is, was the matchwinner for Brendan Rodgers’ side as they secured a huge three points and put four points between themselves and Michael Beale’s men at this early stage.
The champions head into a busy period as their Champions League bid gets set to kick-off. They host Tony Docherty’s men in Glasgow’s east end on Saturday before making the trip to Rotterdam to face Feyenoord in their opening fixture at Europe’s top table as Rodgers and his troops bid to make a splash on the biggest scene in club football.

The Hoops squad limbered up for Saturday’s home clash with Dundee at Lennoxtown this morning
Celtic return to action this weekend two weeks after that win over Rangers lifted the mood at the club.

But it’s amazing what a win in a derby can do and things are looking a bit more rosy around Celtic Park thanks to that brilliant Kyogo winner. Dundee are the visitors this Saturday and the Hoops will look to win with style to continue the optimism.
The squad were put through their paces at Lennoxtown today with two days to go, and we’ve made some observations from Celtic training below.
