It has been reported that negotiations between Reo Hatate and Celtic are now well advanced.

Hatate is currently contracted until 2026, however, it is understood that Celtic chiefs are eager to extend his stay, as they have recently secured new contracts for four of their players, including Hatate.

Celtic midfielder Hatate is expected to make a return to action after sustaining a calf injury against Dundee earlier this month. Hatate had been out of action since sustaining the injury against Aberdeen.
