Report: Texans G Kendrick Green Out Indefinitely With A Torn Meniscus - Steelers Depot

ESPN reported Tuesday that Houston Texans left lineman Kendrick Green has a torn meniscus and will be out indefinitely. Green suffered a right knee injury in Houston’s 30-6 victory against the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, helping the Texans improve to 2-2.

After Houston’s starting left guard, 2022 first-round pick Kenyon Green, sustained a season-ending shoulder injury during the preseason, the Texans acquired Green from the Steelers for a 2025 sixth-round pick. Kendrick Green started 15 games for the Steelers as a rookie in 2021. The 24-year-old was drafted in the third round out of Illinois.

The Texans were already coping with the loss of starter left tackle Laremy Tunsil due to injury. Josh Jones had been filling in at left guard for Kenyon Green before Tunsil’s injury forced him to go to tackle.
