Manchester United’s winger has been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest.
The latest Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive features an update on Jadon Sancho.
Nottingham Forest-connected According to reports, Jadon Sancho will depart Manchester United during the January transfer window.
Since a fight with manager Erik ten Hag, the 23-year-old has been kept out of the first team. He has been training on his own, and despite having a contract with the club until 2026, his long-term future at the club is in peril.
According to Sky Germany, Sancho is “increasingly likely” to leave Old Trafford in the coming year. He’s also been in “regular contact” with his former club, Borussia Dortmund, about a prospective comeback, according to the report.
Despite previous indications that Dortmund were not interested, it has since been suggested that they may reconsider. Any probable move, though, appears to be just on loan.
All parties are reported to be receptive to the notion of selling him once the window reopens. Meanwhile, Forest has been said to be interested in the player.
When England’s under-17s won the World Cup, Steve Cooper coached the winger. However, if Forest makes any attempt in the new year remains to be seen.
