Arsenal has been told to make a ‘big’ offer for Pedro Neto, according to sources.
According to Football Insider, Wolves will demand a high sum for Arsenal target Pedro Neto.
After a brilliant start to the 2023-24 season, the Molineux club are hesitant to allow the 23-year-old leave for less than his market value.
Neto would be “interested” in leaving Wolves for a club like Arsenal, according to Football Insider on Wednesday (4 October).
The Gunners have been linked with the winger yet again, who is a long-term goal for the Emirates Stadium’s transfer officials.
Mikel Arteta’s club is thought to have sought to sign him again during the summer transfer window.
Neto has exploded into life for Wolves since then, following two difficult seasons clouded by injury issues.
He has returned to form in the start of the 2023-24 season, notching one goal and four assists and establishing himself as one of the season’s most brilliant players.
This season, the Portugal international’s performances have helped Wolves earn points against Everton and Luton.
Last year (2022), he signed a multi-year agreement that will keep him at the club until June 2027.
Neto is capable of playing on both the left and right sides.
Arsenal are currently dealing with injuries to outstanding wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli ahead of their Sunday (8 October) match against table-toppers Manchester City.
Meanwhile, Wolves’ next game comes on Sunday against Aston Villa.
