Following the 3-1 win over Kilmarnock, Joe Hart described Celtic Park as’very special’ on his Instagram story.

Brendan Rodgers and his team were back on the saddle after the heartbreak of midweek, this time to see off a tenacious Kilmarnock side that produced a number of chances yesterday.

But the skill within Celtic’s ranks was simply too high, as demonstrated by Reo Hatate, who scored the game’s first goal after 22 minutes.

The Japan star passed the ball past his opponent while standing stationary, as if holding a PlayStation controller, before driving into Killie’s box and guiding the ball into the bottom corner.

Luis Palma arrived 11 minutes later, before Greg Taylor sealed the victory late in the second half.

Joe Hart didn’t get his clean sheet, but he was delighted with what he witnessed from his teammates, as he applauded the above trio and gave the following message on Saturday evening via his Instagram story.

Rodgers has seven victories out of eight.
Rodgers has had a solid start and a positive return, winning seven of his eight league games in charge.

The gap over second-placed St Mirren is seven points going into the international break.

That might change on Sunday, with St Mirren and Rangers battling for second position ahead of their clash.
