Done deal: Celtic Sign a sensational star on Three-Year Deal.
Celtic has some young players with talent in their ranks. Rocco Vata, Mackenzie Carse, and Mitchel Frame are a few notable names.
Another is Jack Donnelly, who, according to the Daily Record, has signed a pre-contract with the club for his first professional agreement. Donnelly is a Scotland under-16 international and presently plays for the Hoops’ under-18 team.
The three-year contract will come into play in July 2024 and it is said the Celts have seen off interest from England to keep their hands on Donnelly.
In the current first-team at Lennoxtown, there are a number of academy success stories. The likes of Callum McGregor, James Forrest, and Anthony Ralston have all made their way up through the ranks meanwhile past players such as Kieran Tierney and Aiden McGeady have done so previously.
This proves there is a chance for youngsters to make it to the senior team and in years to come, Donelly will be eager to do so. His name is one to watch going forward as he aims to knock on Brendan Rodgers’ door.
