Update on Tee Higgins and Chidobe Awuzie’s Injuries Ahead of Sunday’s Game Against the Seahawks.
Cincinnati hopes to improve their season record to 3-3.
CINCINNATI — Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins practiced all week and could play on Sunday against the Seahawks.
He’ll be questionable for Sunday’s game. Higgins suffered a fractured rib in Week 4. He missed last week’s game against the Cardinals, but is optimistic about playing on Sunday.
“Looking promising,” Higgins said on Thursday. “I feel pretty good.”
Cornerback Chidobe Awuzie will also be questionable after missing last week’s matchup with the Cardinals due to a back injury. He practiced on Thursday and Friday.
Getting Higgins and Awuzie back on the field would be huge for a Bengals team that desperately needs to get a win going into the bye week. They’re 2-3 on the season. Getting to 3-3 would feel much different than being 2-4, especially with the adversity they’ve faced over the first six weeks of the season.
