Tomlin Tuesday’s: Steelers HC gives latest injury update ahead of Rams game.
After missing our weekly tradition last Tuesday thanks to a bye week, we were back to our regular scheduled programming today.
That meant another addition of Tomlin Tuesdays with Coach T addressing the media ahead of the Rams game.
Perhaps the most important part, here is what Coach T had to say about the availability of several key players:
Injury Update:
- TE Pat Freiermuth: Muth is back from his hamstring injury and will participate fully
- WR Diontae Johnson: DJ will be “working in a variety of capacities at various levels, along with conditioning as the parameter for if they will be activated.”
- LT Dan Moore: Moore is coming back from his knee injury and is prepared to practice this week
- OG James Daniels: Daniels is prepared to practice this week
- RB Anthony McFarland: McFarland received the same update as Dionate Johnson, seeing as they both are in the 21-day practice window to return from IR
- P Pressley Harvin: Harvin is expected to be back to practice this week, which makes sense given the recent release of punter Brad Wing
- DL DeMarvin Leal: Leal is out of the concussion protocol and will be participating
