Collingwood confirmed the delisting of Trey Ruscoe, Trent Bianco, Tom Wilson, Arlo Draper, and Cooper Murley in the week following their grand final victory over Brisbane.

After that, the Magpies transferred vice-captain Taylor Adams to Sydney and premiership forward Jack Ginnivan to Hawthorn.

Schultz is handled by TLA’s Jason Dover, who used to report to Kelly, as Cleary recounted on the Tradies podcast last week.

“There are people at other clubs that I’ve spoken to that have joined the dots,” he went on to say.

“When Craig Kelly moved from TLA to Collingwood, we all wondered, ‘What’s the link going to be?'” ‘Where is the Collingwood advantage going to be as part of moving him out of player management?'”Cleary.

The Dogs and Hawthorn were well on their way to completing a deal for Lachie Schultz in 12 months.

“This year, he hit a trigger for 2024, a games trigger.” And those teams were positioning themselves for the next 12 months.

“Collingwood comes in… is it a free kick, or is it just good management knowing Lachie Schultz was up for grabs during this trade period?”

“He comes in on a four-year deal with a fifth-year option and replaces Taylor Adams.”

“I think it’s good business for Collingwood and a smart move, but there are some who are skeptical.””ng to be as part of moving the move from him out of player management?’.”Cleary.
