NRLW Round 2 Wrap-up: Butler to miss one match
Harata Butler, a forward for the Sharks, will miss one game after being found guilty of dangerous contact during Sunday’s loss to the Wests Tigers.
Butler was sent to the bin and cited for Grade 2 Dangerous Contact, which carries a one-match punishment with an early guilty plea. The incident involved Wests Tigers winger Jakiya Whitfeld.
In the meanwhile, warnings were given to Knights enforcer Tayla Predebon (careless high tackle), Cowboys prop April Ngatunpuna (dangerous contact), and Wests Tigers forward Sophie Curtain (careless high tackle).

NRLW Round 8 Recap: Nu’uausala is suspended for two games
Annetta Nu’uausala, a prop for the Broncos, will miss the team’s final regular-season game as well as, should they advance, their first-round playoff game.
Due to an alleged hip drop tackle that disqualified Wests Tigers star Sarah Togatuki, Nu’uausala was placed on report, sent to the sin bin, and charged with Grade 3 Dangerous Contact by the Match Review Committee.
The seasoned forward has been suspended for two games after entering an early guilty plea.
Additionally, Nu’uausala received a warning and a charge of Grade 1 Dangerous Contact.
After submitting an early guilty plea, Broncos teammate Brianna Clark was charged with a Grade 1 Dangerous Throw and fined $400 under Rule 39A.
Following disturbances from Round 8, another Bronco, Chelsea Lenarduzzi, Sharks forward Holli Wheeler, and Dragons winger Cortez Te Pou were also given warnings.
* Rule 39A: If a player enters a plea of guilty, they may choose to forgo a one-match penalty in favor of a $400 fine.
