Arrest warrant issued for former Ohio State football star Darron Lee
An arrest warrant has been issued for former Ohio State football star and NFL player Darron Lee after he missed a scheduled court date in relation to his domestic violence and assault charges dating to this past April, according to reports.
Court records revealed that Lee failed to appear in the Franklin Co. (Ohio) court on Monday to attend the hearing for the charges. Lee was initially arrested in Ohio last April and accused of beating his mother and the mother of his son.
A female relative accused Lee of punching her in the head several times during an argument, according to the allegations in the report.
The relative in question told police officers that Lee became upset when she told him to leave and yelled at her before grabbing her shirt and shoving her into a wall.
The woman was then thrown to the ground and hit in the head several times, according to the allegation as reported.
