Las Vegas Raiders vs Detroit Lions and three things to watch for as they go head to head on Monday Night Football.
There are three things to watch as the Las Vegas Raiders take on the Detroit Lions for tonight’s week eight matchup in Ford Field.
It starts with Raiders starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. If Garoppolo finishes the game with a passer rating of 100.0 or better he would notch his 35th career game with a 100.0+ passer rating. Garoppolo would pass recently retired quarterback Matt Ryan (34) for tied for the seventh most games in NFL history among quarterbacks in their first 81 career NFL games.
This will be Garoppolo’s sixth game playing the Raiders as he has 1,079 passing yards, seven touchdowns, and eight interceptions with an 82.6 quarterback rating on the year so far.
Wide receiver Davante Adams is also a player to watch on the Raiders’ offense for tonight’s game. With four receptions tonight, Adams would pass wide receiver Andre Johnson (818) for the tenth most receptions in NFL history among players in their first 10 NFL seasons. Also with four receptions tonight, Adams would become the fifth player in Raiders history since tight end Darren Waller in 2020, to record 50+ receptions in the first eight games of a single season.
