Ohio State running back Cip Trayanumh exits Purdue game in first quarter.
Huge Exit.
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Ohio State running back Chip Trayanum exited Saturday’s game against Purdue after taking a big hit on the sideline that left him visibly shaky while headed toward the sideline.
Trayanum had to be helped to the Ohio State bench and immediately went to the medical tent. He emerged without his helmet.
Trayanum’s injury didn’t come at an opportune time for Ohio State, as the Buckeyes are now down to their fourth-string running back. TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams both did not dress due to injuries, leaving Dallan Hayden as the team’s No. 1 running back.
The Buckeyes will likely have to finish the remainder of Saturday with two, and maybe just one, healthy and available running back.
