Could Ohio State Buckeyes Star Marvin Harrison Jr.’s Younger Brother Be Better Than He Is?
Ohio State Buckeyes star Marvin Harrison Jr. might be the best receiver in college football. In fact, he might be the best NFL Draft prospect in the entire country.
Some might say he is even the best wide receiver prospect to come out of college football ever. Certainly in quite some time.
And given the company that he keeps in a stellar line of Buckeyes wideouts, that is saying something.
However, according to Harrison Jr. himself, his younger brother Jett – who would be a member of the 2028 class – is even better than he was at that age.
A scary thought indeed.
“He’s great. He’s definitely more talented than I ever was at that age,” Harrison said. “He started early with the routes and everything from my dad. I’m super excited to see how he comes along, and it’s gonna be very scary to see how he progresses.”
Without a doubt, the younger Harrison will have no shortage of expectations when he eventually gets to the college level.
Marvin Sr. alone is one of the best pass catchers in the history of the NFL, finishing his career with eight Pro Bowl selections, and is in the top 10 all-time for receiving yards and touchdowns in a career.
Meanwhile, Harrison Jr. has been dominant at the college level and had 136 catches for 2,291 yards and 25 touchdowns in three seasons, including 889 yards and eight touchdowns this season. He also sits second behind David Boston (14) for the most 100-yard games in Ohio State history with 13.
To make things even better? It seems Jett would like to follow in his brother’s footsteps, and land at Ohio State.
“He sees me here and naturally he wants to follow in my footsteps,” Harrison said.
But is Jett actually going to be a better receiver than his older brother? Only time will tell.
Nevertheless, it is a good prospect indeed for Buckeyes fans everywhere.
