Celtic star welcomes new baby and shares sweet name with special meaning
Scott Bain and fiancée Robyn Crumlish welcomed their bundle of joy in October and their announcement was flooded with well-wishes from Celtic stars and former players.
Celtic goalkeeper Scott Bain and his fiancée Robyn Crumlish announced the arrival of their baby boy with a sweet snap on social media.
The 31-year-old shared the exciting news with fans on Instagram yesterday, along with the tot’s gorgeous name.
Scott told his 52,000 followers his major life update with a simple but adorable message as he shared a black and white picture of the newborn and said: “Harris Thomas Bain. 19.10.23”.
Scott and Robyn, who got engaged last September, enjoyed a romantic trip to the Hebridean island which inspired their newborn’s name last year.
A raft of former Celtic players rushed to congratulate the couple, with Scott Brown leading the well wishes by saying: “Congrats my man”. Fellow keeper Joe Hart said: “Yeeeaaa baby”.
Giorgos Giakoumakis said: “Uhhh” Congratulations my friend” and Mikael Lustig added: “congrats to you both”.

Celtic have written to season ticket holders to detail why the Green Brigade section of the club’s support has been banned from attending matches – and to confirm that the suspension of affected ticket holders remains in place.
The Scottish champions wrote that the ban was imposed due to “unacceptable behaviours” leading to safety concerns.
Adding that the ban was “not imposed as a result of the display of Palestinian flags”, the Scottish Premiership club say they will offer refunds to some of the fans affected.
And they plan to offer free tickets in the affected section to “recipients who may otherwise be unable to attend Celtic Park”.
Celtic withdrew the season tickets of fans registered with the Green Brigade supporters group on 31 October due to concerns about breaches of club and stadium safety rules.
These included the use of pyrotechnics in a game against Feyenoord in September, rushing turnstiles and forcing open fire exits at Fir Park later the same month and illegally gaining access to Celtic Park ahead of the Champions League game against Lazio last month.
The Green Brigade – a collection of 267 registered fans – is housed in a safe standing section in area 111 within the stadium.
Celtic initially withdrew access to away match tickets for the group before suspending their season tickets.
“The club is working through a number of requests from amongst that 267 who no longer wish to be registered with the group and will continue to liaise directly with these individuals,” Celtic added in their letter.
“The club is willing to cancel the season ticket and process pro-rata refunds for any season ticket holder currently suspended should that individual so wish.
“Similarly, the club is willing to discuss the possible relocation of any such individual out of the rail seating section upon request.”
