Brian To’o and his wife Moesha have welcomed their first child, a baby boy.

The NRL star, 25, announced the exciting news via Instagram on Thursday, sharing several photos of the newborn, who was born October 22.

In his post, the Penrith Panthers winger revealed their son’s name is Atreus Gohanrome-Stephenny To’o.

Sometimes the smallest things take the most room in your heart,’ the married couple captioned their post.

‘Thank you God for blessings us with our baby boy.’

Atreus’ middle name references the fiction character Gohan from the Dragon Ball manga and anime series.

The other part of his middle name is suggested to be a nod to Brian’s three Panthers teammates – Jarome Luai, Stephen Crichton and Spencer Leniu.

The bub was also dressed in the iconic orange uniform from the series.

Brian and Moesha shared a series of photos of their adorable son next to the rugby star’s three premiership rings from the past three years.

Brian and Moesha’s post was met with warm congratulations from family, friends and fans.

‘Congrats my brother how good!!’ Josh Addo-Carr commented.

‘Congrats brother,’ Cameron Murray added.

‘Our whole heart. We love you guys so much,’ another wrote.

The couple tied the knot in December 2022. Their nuptials were live streamed and featured several of his Panthers teammates including stars Nathan Cleary, Stephen Crichton – and best man Jarome Luai.

To’o proposed to his partner Moesha in emotional scenes at Suncorp Stadium after the Panthers claimed their third premiership in a 14-12 win over South Sydney in October 2021.

Moesha admitted that she wasn’t expecting a proposal after To’o came over to her post-match.

‘I thought he was just coming to give me a hug like he usually does,’ she told Channel Nine at the time.

The pair had known each other at the time for around eight years, and had been a couple for roughly two and a half of them.

‘It’s been a massive year for not only myself but my family and my community as well,’ To’o said when interviewed after the game.

‘I want to thank my beautiful partner for saying yes. I’m very grateful to be here, I’m so lucky.

‘It’s a really special moment to have, not only with my partner but for my family back home in lockdown.’

The NSW Origin rep also admitted he would have still popped the question if the Panthers had lost to Souths.

‘It was actually Origin I was planning it, but obviously due to Covid-19 that didn’t happen, so I made it the next step to push for the Grand Final [to propose], and then we got the win,’ To’o explained.
