JAMES VISITS COLUMBUS ON OCT 1 LeBron James’s other son is interested in the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Bryce James, the youngest of James’ sons, is the target this time.
And, according to Joe Tipton, James will pay an unofficial visit to Ohio State the following weekend.
James has only received one official offer from Duquesne, but he is rated as a four-star recruit by On3, ESPN, and Rivals.com.
Meanwhile, LeBron has hinted at the possibility of staying in the NBA long enough to play with both Bronny and Bryce.
“I like to throw things out there on the airwaves, but I’m not one to [say] what’s going to happen in the next two to three years,” LeBron told Sports Illustrated in August. “I am a visionary, but I also live in the present.” I’d definitely look at who got first-round picks in 2024, 2025, and similar years; 2026, ’27. That sort of thing is important to me.”
“I feel like I could play for a long time.” So everything is up to my body, but more importantly, my mind. If I can keep my mind sharp, fresh, and motivated, the sky’s the limit for me. I can go above and beyond. But we’ll see.”

The Buckeyes have been looking for a top-level skilled big man since the days of Jared Sullinger, and four-star centre Jesse McCulloch could be the next great five-man to come to Columbus.
On Friday, the No. 1 player in Ohio narrowed his list of 18 offers to eight schools: Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Alabama, Virginia Tech, Xavier, and Kent State.
The Cleveland native stands 6-9 and weighs 190 pounds, so adding weight and muscle will be a priority if McCulloch wants to compete with the Big Ten’s physical big men.
If McCulloch commits to Ohio State, he will compete with Felix Okpara and Austin Parks from the class of 2023, assuming no transfers or departures for the professional ranks.
