Sad News: Due To Huge Injuries, Two Buckeye Players Could Miss The Whole Season
The Ohio State Buckeyes have revealed their injury report for Saturday’s game against the Michigan State Spartans.

The No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes will be without three of their top defensive players when they face the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday in Columbus.

Safeties Inactives Lathan Ransom and Josh Proctor join linebacker Tommy Eichenberg, leaving the Buckeyes without a trio of playmakers against the Spartans.

Not only are three members of Ohio State’s defensive secondary out against Michigan State. Here is the complete Saturday availability report:

QUESTIONABLE:

Some notable names missing from the inactives list include Ohio State receiver Emeka Egbuka, quarterback Devin Brown, and linebacker CJ Hicks. The three aforementioned Buckeyes have spent time on and off the field dealing with various ailments, but their absence from the report indicates that they will be ready to go when the game against Michigan State kicks off.

Linebacker Cody Simon is likely to take the spot of the injured Eichenberg. Simon covered the middle last weekend against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, where he split reps with Ohio State’s other middle linebacker, Steele Chambers.

Ohio State and Michigan State take the field at 7:30 p.m. at Ohio Stadium. Coverage of the game will air nationally on NBC, with Noah Eagle, Todd Blackledge and Kathryn Tappen on the call.
