COLUMBIA, OHIO – Kyle McCord, the latest Ohio State quarterback to have his way against Michigan State, just played the most efficient game of his career.
On Saturday, the Buckeyes’ offence looked more like what it has been in recent years, with McCord leading the way with. Much of that output came from Marvin Harrison Jr. and Cade Stover, who were the two most consistent weapons for the majority of the season.
With Harrison Jr. became the first player in school history to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in multiple seasons. He even added another 19-yard touchdown run, further strengthening his Heisman Trophy case. Stover also added.
That trio led the way in terms of offensive Pro Football Focus grades as well. McCord’s 93.3 led all players on either side of the ball while also giving him a new career high being above 90 for the first time. Stover followed with his career high of 91.4 while Harrison added an 85.1
Ohio State-Michigan State takeaways: Kyle McCord, Buckeyes get complete game they needed

It was a needed drama-free win for the Buckeyes (10-0, 7-0 Big Ten) after rival Michigan beat Penn State in a top-10 matchup earlier in the day.
