This comes after Zinter was carted off during Michigan’s 30-24 win over archrival Ohio State Buckeyes in the third quarter.

Tiffany Zinter, Zak’s mother, announced the news on Instagram, writing, “Update on Zak… We’re about to go into surgery… please pray for Zak’s surgeons, the surgery, a speedy recovery, and for him to understand the injury! Tibia and fibula fractures.
