This latest social media storm follows Jones’ arrest in Las Vegas on October 25 on a charge of violating a temporary protection order related to domestic violence, as per jail records. To add to the turbulence, just weeks before this incident, on September 29, Jones faced two counts of the same charge, prompting the Raiders to part ways with him.

According to the arrest record, an officer responded to a woman’s call reporting a mental health crisis involving Jones. However, upon investigation, it was revealed that Jones had breached the protection order by communicating with the protected party on Instagram.

Jones currently finds himself confined at the Clark County Detention Center with a $15,000 cash bail, awaiting a court date set for December 19. Another court appearance is slated for December 4 for the prior charges.

The protection order, allegedly violated three times by Jones, was granted to an unnamed woman following an incident on September 12, detailed in police documents obtained by The Athletic. The woman reported domestic battery, identifying Jones as her ex-boyfriend and the alleged offender.

It’s worth noting that Jones, 33, hasn’t seen action this season and distanced himself from the Raiders since Labor Day weekend. Back then, a series of social media posts targeting the team, owner Mark Davis, general manager Dave Ziegler, and coach Josh McDaniels led to the Raiders placing Jones on the non-football illness list on September 20.

Jones’ tumultuous journey continued as he claimed on social media that he was taken to a hospital “against my will” by the Las Vegas Fire Department and subsequently transferred to a behavioural health facility.

In his recent string of posts on Thursday, including live videos, Jones was seen outside his home, delving into various topics in a rambling manner. The saga of Chandler Jones, both on and off the field, unfolds with each twist and turn, leaving fans and onlookers with more questions than answers.
