Raiders’ star says hospital trip caused by fluid build-up in…….

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas Raiders defensive star Maxx Crosby says he had to go to the hospital last week because a dangerous amount of fluid built up in his knee.

The defensive end revealed the reason for his hospital trip in an episode of his podcast “The Rush with Maxx Crosby,” the trailer of which was released Monday.

He said he woke up one morning and almost passed out, describing himself as “literally bedridden.” Video posted to social media shows his left knee with significant swelling.

“Then I get a call that night and they’re like, ‘Okay, we need to go to the hospital in the morning. There’s- we found there’s bacteria in your f*****-‘ in my fluid,” Crosby said.

He said he had to meet several requirements to be able to play this past Sunday against Kansas City.

The Raiders listed Crosby as doubtful for the matchup but he ultimately was able to take the field, getting a sack in the team’s 31-17 loss to the Chiefs

Crosby was tight-lipped after the game, saying only that he had a “long week” and “battled a lot of things,” including a hospital visit.
