Atlanta Braves release exciting promotional calendar for 2024 season
Braves fans will be treated to some great giveaways during the 2024 MLB season
The Atlanta Braves are always very good at driving fan engagement and providing great promotions throughout the season. That tradition carried over into 2024 as the team announced its promo schedule.
Bobbleheads are a very popular giveaway all across baseball and the Braves have some exciting ones slated for 2024. The first one is a Hank Aaron bobble commemorating the 50th anniversary of his milestone 715th home run back on April 8, 1974.
Atlanta will also have a set of Ronald Acuna Jr. bobbles available to honor his incredible and record-setting performance in 2023. The first of the set will be released on April 24 during Atlanta’s series with the Marlins. This giveaway will feature Ronald in his iconic pose after reaching the 40 HR/70 SB mark.
The remaining two bobbles will celebrate Acuna winning the 2023 NL MVP award and hitting 41 home runs. Those will be given away on May 28 and August 1, respectively.
Matt Olson will have a bobblehead giveaway celebrating his franchise record of 54 home runs on May 30 while the Washington Nationals are visiting Truist Park. The final bobblehead release of the 2024 season comes on September 3 with a Sean Murphy “two thumbs up” bobble.
Other notable giveaways include a Michael Harris II cloud chain on May 15 in memory of Harris’ childhood friend who passed away at a young age. There will also be a second chain giveaway featuring the number 11. That is the number of Braves shortstop Orlando Arcia. Fans can get this chain on July 23 while the Reds are in town.
On May 7, Atlanta will be handing out a throwback Braves ballcap sponsored by NAPA. There is also a Braves-branded belt bag giveaway on June 17.
One of the coolest giveaways takes place during the final home stand of the season with the New York Mets visiting. The team will be handing out a replica Atlanta Braves City Connect jersey to the first 15,000 fans. Fans will receive a jersey with Ozzie Albies, Ronald Acuna Jr, or Matt Olson on the back. Atlanta’s website states every jersey will be an Adult Large.
Other notable promotional nights include Deaf Awareness, Girls Night Out, BLOOPER’s Brunch, Star Wars Night, Military Appreciation, Play Ball weekend, Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Night, Father’s Day catch on the Field, Pride Night, Summer Camp Day, Georgia Tribe night, HBCU night, Alumni Weekend, and Los Bravos night. See Atlanta’s promotional calendar for specific dates relating to these experiences.
Fan favorite experiences like Friday Night Fireworks, Kids Run the Bases, and Alumni Sunday will all return for the 2024 season as well. The Braves have often had concert experiences pop up during the season as well so I’m sure some things haven’t been added to the calendar just yet. Be sure to keep an eye out for all the exciting things happening at Truist Park in 2024!
