Pat McAfee Tells Georgia Football Fans to “Go to Hell”
The 2023 Georgia Bulldogs, or at least the version of them that competed for an SEC Championship Game, have come to a close. With a bowl game remaining against the undefeated Florida State Seminole, the Bulldogs are looking towards growing to their next national championship opportunity.
They aren’t allowed to do so without a little trolling from all of those in the national media landscape. ESPN’s College Gameday co-host and host of the Pat McAfee Show, Pat McAfee was on ESPN’s First Take this morning and told Georgia fans, one last time, to go to hell.
“Georgia fans, They did not love me. You gotta remember the whole narrative all year was that because my show came to ESPN. Obviously, we fired Steve Young. We fired all the people that were here and were great people at ESPN. It was my show’s fault. And then on game day, David Pollack got let go, David Pollock, who I am a massive fan of one of the greatest Bulldogs of all time, a dude who was very good to me. Obviously, I took his spot. So Georgia fans all year, not necessarily the biggest McAfee fans Now with that being said,
I was very nice to them. I was very cordial to them. But in the biggest moment in front of them all it was a nice little reminder that hey, yeah, you can go to hell to you know, for what you said. Oh, you know, and then Alabama wins. That’s a huge ordeal. It’s always better that way because Georgia wins then I have to live with that forever”
