Florida hosted one of their top flip targets in town this weekend for an official visit

As the Florida Gators have continued their search for a second running back in the 2024 cycle, a big focus from the coaching staff has been put towards Decatur (GA) Columba three-star running back Jadan Baugh. Though he’s been committed to Arkansas since the spring, he’s been keeping his ears open to the pitch the Gators have been making to him. He’s made a pair of trips this year to Gainesville, but got a chance to return this weekend for an official visit.

This time around he got not only an extended stay, but was able to bring family with him to let them experience Florida and the coaching staff.

In-state target Gregory Smith expects to meet with new UF DB coach this week

Riverview (Fla.) Sumner three-star athlete Gregory Smith III has visited the University of Florida a handful of times this year since landing an offer from the staff back in October. This weekend marked his fall trip to The Swamp, which was an official visit to campus. While he’s no stranger to Florida’s campus, he was able to see some of the things away from the athletics side this weekend that was a bit more new to him.

“It was interesting,” he said. “I’ve been here a few times, so it was the small things that stood out to me. Went over the academics, because haven’t really been here [to see that]. The sports part is always interesting. Being around the players, they love it.”
