Georgia lands Florida transfer RB Trevor Etienne: What it means for Bulldogs’ offense
ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia has landed one of the most coveted offensive players in the transfer portal, dealing a blow to a rival in the process: Florida running back Trevor Etienne is headed to the Bulldogs, he announced Sunday.
Etienne fills a need for Georgia, which is set to lose its top two rushers from this season, seniors Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards. The Bulldogs had three young tailbacks and signed three players on Wednesday who can play tailback, but they wanted proven experience to head the backfield next year. Etienne fits that.

So far, Georgia Bulldogs winning battle of ‘opt-outs’ over FSU
ATHENS — Florida State, Georgia’s opponent in the Orange Bowl, had another player opt out of the game Thursday. And it’s another significant one.
Keon Coleman, the leading receiver for the No. 5-ranked Seminoles, has decided to skip the bowl to avoid injury risk and to begin training for the NFL draft. A 6-foot-4, 216-pound wideout, Coleman led the ACC with 11 touchdown catches this season. Overall, he had 50 receptions for 658 yards.
Coleman is at least the fifth FSU starter to opt out of the New Year’s Six bowl in Miami. He joined receiver Johnny Wilson (41-617-2), tight end Jaheim Bell (39-503-2), running back Trey Benson (41 carries, 905 yards, 14 TDs) and defensive end Jared Verse (41 tackles, 9 sacks, 11 QB hurries).
