Giants Assistant Coach Craig Fitzgerald to Depart Team
According to Florida Gators beat writer Jacob Rudner, New York Giants assistant coach Craig Fitzgerald is reportedly leaving the team at the end of the year to head up the University of Florida’s strength and conditioning program.
Fitzgerald, according to Rudnger, will replace Gators director of football strength and conditioning Mark Hocke, who will take on a different role i head coach Billy Napier’s program.
Fitzgerald served as the Giants’ director of strength and performance, a role he held since 2020 under then-head coach Joe Judge. Fitzgerald had previously been at the University of Tennessee, the Giants’ job being his first in the NFL.
