Fans throughout Green Bay are getting fired up for the Packers playoff run
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – It’s the day before the big game in California, and people all around Green Bay are finalizing plans to get ready for the divisional game.
Places like Stadium View Bar & Grill are making plans to beef up security, get more bartenders, and open their dining hall section to accommodate more people.
Kelly Hewitt, a manager at Stadium View Bar & Grill said, “there’s a lot of people that come out from outta town. So I wouldn’t be surprised if I started seeing people tonight coming in for the game tomorrow. Even though it’s not here, they want to be part of the excitement. We could be busy all afternoon tomorrow, it wouldn’t surprise me.”
With people feeling the full swing of the playoffs, not only are bars getting ready, but so are Packers fans. At the Packers Pro Shop, some were getting last-minute jerseys while others were just checking out the shop. Some even shared their gameday traditions that they believe will help lead the team to a victory.
“Whatever color the other team is wearing, we don’t have that in the house,” said Aidan Uscila. “We don’t have that on at all. We just got the Packers stuff on and that’s it.”
However, even if the Packers come up short on Saturday, some fans drew this conclusion to the team’s playoff run.
“If they win, awesome,” said Karl Stakao. If they lose, technically this is supposed to be a rebuilding year anyway. And I like what I’ve seen from J Love, so it looks good for the future.”
