Michigan football National Early Signing Day Live Tracker
Despite the drop in rankings, Davis still feels like a long-term starter to me and the guy that eventually takes over for J.J. McCarthy, although there could be a bridge year based on McCarthy’s NFL decision.
Coming into Early National Signing Day, Michigan football has 26 verbal commitments. According to to the 247 Sports team rankings for the 2024 class, the Wolverines are ranked 16th right now. They have a total of 17 four-star prospects which gives U-M a blue-chip ratio of 65 percent. That’s a healthy number which should grow on Wednesday.
It doesn’t seem like there will be any major flips like the Wolverines have pulled off on the past couple of Early Signing Days, but as long as the Wolverines get all their commitments signed, that’s all that matters.
