Bruins sign Frederic Brunet to three-year, entry-level contract

The Boston Bruins have signed defence man Frederic Brunet to a three-year, entry-level contract worth $860,000 annually, general manager Don Sweeney announced Wednesday.

The 20-year-old spent the 2022-23 season in the QMJHL, where he potted 15 goals and 73 points. He dressed in one game for AHL Providence, where he added two assists.

Brunet was selected in the fifth round, 132nd overall, by the Bruins in the 2022 NHL Draft.
