Isaiah Thomas Has Signed With The Miami Hurricanes

The Miami Hurricanes bring in another talented defensive back for the class of 2024. This time, it’s a young man that’s originally from Canada.

Isaiah Thomas
Size: 6-foot-2, 195 pounds

Position: Safety

High School: Toronto / Clearwater (Fla.) Clearwater Academy International

Recruitment: An unofficial visit to Miami began to steer him towards The U. Thomas eventually announced the Hurricanes on April 19, 2023. Other offers of note include but are not limited to Penn State, Wisconsin, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Florida State, UCF, and Maryland.

Strengths: A big hitter and a player that has a tremendous amount of length, making plays on the football should be considered one of, if not the best, attribute for Thomas. Anyone who meets this young man will likely notice his long arms. They certainly help Thomas get pass breakups and interceptions.

Areas to Improve: Find a specific position to excel at while he fills out his frame and gets ready to play for Miami. Thomas is good at many things, but finding that one niche that gets him onto the gridiron fast and also helps the Canes should be the objective.
