11 Georgia Bulldogs invited to 2024 NFL Combine
The Georgia Bulldogs once again showed out during the 2023 season, setting the stage for many of the players to jump to the NFL. Six Bulldogs showed out during the Senior Bowl earlier this month, and now 11 former Georgia stars are set to make their mark in Indianapolis.
The NFL announced on Tuesday that 11 Georgia players have been invited to participate in this year’s NFL Combine. Those players are: running backs Daijun Edwards and Kendall Milton; wide receivers Ladd McConkey and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint; tight end Brock Bowers; offensive linemen Amarius Mims and Sedrick Van Pran; defensive tackle Zion Logue; and defensive backs Kamari Lassiter, Javon Bullard, and Tykee Smith.
This year’s NFL Combine will take place from February 26 through March 4. Workouts will take place in Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium.
Georgia is hoping that this draft class can carry over what’s been a successful start to their draft preparation. The Bulldogs were the talk of Senior Bowl week, as McConkey and Bullard earned individual recognitions for their practice efforts. The week culminated with Smith bringing home MVP honors thanks to delivering 3 pass break-ups in the exhibition.
This year’s crew will try to match the success of the last few groups of Bulldogs who stole the show in Indianapolis. Georgia sent 12 players to the combine in 2023 after sending 14 the previous year. In total, Georgia had 15 players selected in the 2022 draft and 10 selected in 2023.
