Green Bay Packers: 3 Teams David Bakhtiari Could Be Signed By Once Released
The Green Bay Packers are very much on their way to releasing left tackle David Bakhtiari at some point this NFL offseason. Green Bay is going to look elsewhere possibly for a left tackle next season either through NFL free agency or through the NFL Draft.
Bakhtiari suffered a season-ending ankle injury in 2023 and it is going to be interesting to see what team will want him when released. He is 32 years old and will want to go to a team that could possibly win now or need a left tackle in the worst way. Which NFL teams could make a play for him?
There is no doubt that Rodgers is running the show with the Jets and not General Manager Joe Douglass. Aaron Rodgers is going to make sure that New York signs David Bakhtiari to play left tackle for them next season. This will cause the Jets fanbase to be even more upset at Aaron Rodgers.
Green Bay’s fanbase is happy that Rodgers isn’t running the show anymore and that Jordan Love can just ball out for them. However one of the biggest concerns about going to the Jets is the turf at MetLife Stadium that everyone seems to complain about. The New York Jets do need help on the offensive line, however.
The Cincinnati Bengals offensive line has been very shaky over the past few seasons. Quarterback Joe Burrow got hurt again this season and they need to protect their top investment better. David Bakhtiari would be going to a Cincinnati football team that is in win-now mode when they are fully healthy.
The Bengals are going to be looking for more offensive line help this offseason and it will be interesting to see how they address it. This could be one of the ways they do it.
