Former Maple Leaf Darcy Tucker retires
After a brawl-filled career, Darcy Tucker has finally turned his own lights out.
the former Toronto Maple Leaf has announced his retirement today, capping an NHL career that started with him in a Montreal Canadiens sweater in 1995. Tucker signed with the Colorado Avalanche following the 2007/08 season, but after two uneventful years in Denver, the right-winger has called it quits.
Tucker also spent parts of three seasons with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
