Justin Fields Debate Intensity Increases

With nothing left to play for in terms of playoffs, and first pick in the draft already secured, the Justin Fields debate can rage on in earnest.

As if there has been a time when this wasn’t the case.

The Fields debate will be on with everyone rushing to get their 2 cents worth in as if it will end before they can’t take advantage of it by squeezing out a few extra web clicks.

They probably should listen to what Matt Eberflus said when asked about having the first pick in the draft.

Along the same lines, Vinnie Iyer of the Sporting News says they “should not be thinking about moving Justin Fields now given the offense with his constant all-around improvement.”

Another veteran of power rankings, Pete Prisco of CBS Sports says Fields “…needs to be their quarterback for the future and watch out for them in 2024.”
