Former Chicago Bears RB D’Onta Foreman has signed with the Browns

Cleveland — The former Chicago Bears running back D’Onta Foreman is being signed by the Cleveland Browns, a source revealed to News 5 on Wednesday afternoon.

The Houston Texans selected Foreman out of Texas in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

After playing for the Colts, Titans, Falcons, Panthers, and most recently, the Bears, he was waived by the Texans in 2019.

Foreman has participated in 50 games throughout his six years in the league, accumulating 2,282 running yards on 535 carries for 14 touchdowns.

He’ll add depth to the group of running backs that now includes Pierre Strong, Nick Chubb, Nyheim Hines, John Kelly Jr., and Jerome Ford.
