Cincinnati Wing Rayvon Griffith Announces Return to Cincinnati For 2024-25 Season

CINCINNATI — Bearcats guard Rayvon Griffith announced his intentions of returning to Cincinnati for the 2024-2025 season per his Instagram.

Griffith did not appear in any games this past season after electing to redshirt in his first collegiate season. This is great News for Bearcats fans as Griffith now joins Dan Skillings Jr., Josh Reed, Simas Lukosius, Day Day Thomas, and Aziz Bandaogo as confirmed scholarship players heading into the 2024-25 season.

Griffith, a 6-7 guard was a top-100 prospect in the 2023 recruiting class who showed promise throughout his high school career. Cincinnati has to find a way to replace a huge presence on the wing after veteran guard John Newman exhausted his college eligibility. It is worth noting that CJ Fredrick still has another year of eligibility if he elects to use it however, the veteran guard has yet to announce his intentions.

Griffth returning to Cincinnati is huge for Wes Miller as he retains a strong nucleus heading into the program’s second season in the Big 12.
