BYU transfer Dallin Hall not considering Kentucky
Perhaps we won’t be seeing an influx of BYU players to Kentucky Basketball.
When Mark Pope left for Kentucky, BYU point guard Dallin Hall quickly entered the transfer portal.
However, Hall is not currently considering the Wildcats, according to Travis Branham. Among the schools he is considering including Florida, Creighton, and a return to BYU.
Originally a class of 2020 recruit, the 6-foot-4, 196-pound Hall served a two-year Mormon mission before joining the BYU program for the 2022-23 season. As a freshman, he averaged 7.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists while shooting 41.2% from the field and 36.7% from 3-point range.
This past season, Hall averaged 9.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game while shooting 42.2% from the field and 35.9% on 3-pointers.
Kentucky is in contact with Oklahoma State point guard Javon Small. Perhaps that’s who Mark Pope is focusing on as the point guard for next season.
