Raiders poaching Browns TE Harrison Bryant on one-year deal
The tight end room for the Cleveland Browns will likely have a new face or two as NFL rumors continue to fire away in free agency. Harrison Bryant is set to join the Los Vegas Raiders on a one-year deal.
The team drafted Bryant in the fourth of the 2020 draft in Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski’s first year.
It was an up-and-down four years for Bryant, who was always willing to do whatever the team asked. He wasn’t the best athlete or a great blocker, but he worked his tail off and played as a full-back at times and on quarterback sneaks this season.
It felt like his time in Cleveland was ending, and it became official after he agreed to a deal with the Raiders worth $3.25 million with an additional $750k in incentives. The Browns could look to free agency to fill his roster spot, or they could look to the draft, which isn’t loaded with talent but has several fun and intriguing options.
