The promotion’s points haul after seven games is not really something to shout hurray for, but in terms of the game it looks better and better for Sønderjyske

After a couple of clear defeats to AGF and FCK, Thomas Nørgaard’s troops have played three excellent games against Randers, FC Midtjylland and Viborg and have actually gotten a little less than they deserved

In the previous round of play, the southerners were ahead for two whole rounds against the defending Danish champions, but ended up losing 3-2, and against Viborg most recently, the promoted side put another lead out of control

This time the promoters were up 2-0 at half-time after a brilliant first half, but fell for the second game in a row in cadence, and had to settle for a single point

 

Four points in the last three games is, however, quite acceptable in isolation and a clear improvement on the points collected from the first four games of the season

The offense in particular has looked toxic recently with six goals in three games, and here a large part of the credit must be attributed to Lirim Qamili and Mads Agger, who have jointly accounted for five of the six scores
