Canterbury Bulldogs Sign Matt Burton on 3-Year Deal*

The Canterbury Bulldogs have secured talented playmaker Matt Burton on a three-year deal, starting from the 2022 NRL season.

Burton, 21, joins the Bulldogs from the Penrith Panthers, where he made his NRL debut in 2020.

The Dubbo-born playmaker was instrumental in Penrith’s 2021 NRL Premiership victory.

Bulldogs CEO, Aaron Warburton, praised Burton’s signing:

“Matt is an exceptional young talent… His versatility, vision, and kicking game will be invaluable assets.”

Burton expressed excitement about joining the Bulldogs:

“I’m looking forward to being part of a new team and contributing to the Bulldogs’ success.”
