When the New Orleans Saints play the Green Bay Packers, they will be without a number of their greatest players.

Running back Alvin Kamara (groin) and quarterback Derek Carr (hand/concussion) were declared out by the team after they missed practice this week due to injury. Chris Olave, a wide receiver, will also not return after a concussion, even though he has been a limited participant for three days in a row.

Spencer Rattler will start at quarterback since Carr is out.

Rizzi stated, “Derek simply hasn’t made enough progress this week.” “I simply don’t feel at ease with him playing at the moment. Well. He will just not be active.

Earlier in the week, Rizzi stated that he wanted the quarterback to practice at least once before making a comeback, although he had previously left the door open for Carr to return. Carr, who had a concussion and fractured his non-throwing hand during a victory against the New York Giants on December 8, will miss this game for the second consecutive one.
Carr is “inching closer” and regaining some of his grip strength, according to Rizzi, but the quarterback was unable to prepare for Monday’s game in time.

In contrast, Kamara’s groin injury turned out to be more serious than the Saints had first thought. In order to replace Kamara, Rizzi stated that the Saints would use a “committee” method.e031add0-3e2c-11ef-bcff-4f87023b7381

The good news is that Kendre (Miller) should be able to continue where he left off during the past few weeks, Rizzi stated. “Jamaal Williams plays in that division and at that stadium a lot, and he’s had some excellent games. I believe you will see Jordan Mims, Jamaal, and Kendre at some time throughout the game.

Along with Carr, Kamara, and Olave, the Saints also classified wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling as questionable due to a chest issue and illness, while they ruled out wide receiver Bub Means.
