Clubs believe there’s no point chasing £17 million star as he’s set to join West Ham
Rival clubs in the race to sign Konstantinos Mavropanos believe that he’s set to join West Ham this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, West Ham are clear favourites to win the race for the signing of Stuttgart centre-back Konstantinos Mavropanos in the summer transfer window.
The East London outfit have been closing in on a deal to sign the 25-year-old defender for around £17 million over the past few days.
If we manage to sign the Greek ace this summer, he’ll be a hugely important addition for Hammers boss David Moyes.
And now it seems like the former Arsenal ace is closing in on a move to West Ham from Stuttgart…

Fabrizio Romano took to Twitter last night and suggested that the Hammers are now in pole position to sign the towering Greece international defender this summer.
I’ll be delighted if West Ham win the race to sign Konstantinos Mavropanos this summer. He’s absolutely perfectly built for the physical nature of Premier League football.
The Stuttgart centre-back stands at 6ft 4in tall, and is really dominant in the air. He’s a solid tackler too, and reads the game impressively well.

Key Sullivan source claims smart money is now on West Ham signing Jonathan Tah
The smart money will be on West Ham United signing Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
According to Sean Whetstone – one of David Sullivan’s confidants – Jonathan Tah could very well be West Ham bound in the summer transfer window.
The East London outfit have been linked with a move to sign the 27-year-old all summer long – most recently just yesterday.
Hammers manager David Moyes desperately needs to sign a top-class central defender this summer, having sold Craig Dawson in January and with Angelo Ogbonna set to turn 36 at the end of the season.
It seems as though Tah is the man who could come in and bolster Moyes’s defensive ranks at the London Stadium…

It seems as though the 27-year-old German could very well be Hammers bound this summer.
I would be more than happy if West Ham signed Jonathan Tah this summer. The thought of him lined up alongside Kurt Zouma and Nayef Aguerd is a very exciting one indeed.
The Germany international is an absolute giant. Standing at 6ft 5in tall, he is dominating in the air but fairly quick along the ground as well. In addition to that he is really strong in the tackle.
Tah reads the game exceptionally well, and has plenty of experience in playing at the very highest level for a sustained period of time with Leverkusen.
Jonathan Tah will be a real hit at West Ham if he does end up moving to the London Stadium, I have no doubts in my mind about that. Especially for the £17 million fee that has been quoted by the likes of Sky Germany.
