The Blades boss has made no secret of the fact that he wants more quality in the academy. As a development club, Heckingbottom is tasked with bringing through young players into the first team.

The club has already lost two talented youngsters who were destined for the first XI, with Will Lankshear joining Tottenham and Kyle Midwood joining Man City.
