After being released by Luton Town, I promised I’d monitor any interest shown in Sonny Bradley, Harry Isted and Henri Lansbury.

Today, I can report that our former skipper, Sonny Bradley, features in a piece of transfer speculation.

As a free agent, Sonny is free to choose where his next step in his professional career takes him and according to
The Derby Telegraph, that could well be Pride Park, with Derby County showing an interest.

Derby, something of a fallen giant, are lingering in League One, the third flight of English football, after failing to reach the play-offs last season.

Our source goes on to point out that Derby County are looking for central defenders are releasing several players this summer, including a certain Curtis Davies who Luton Town supporters will have fond memories of.

If Sony does decide that Derby County is the next stop for him, he could feature in a future starting XI that includes another former Hatter, James Collins

Here at Vital Luton Town, we’ll keep an eye on the situation, but my view is that Derby could be a smart move for Sonny with the club looking to climb up the league ladder to relive their former glories and his leadership qualities could prove to be extremely benificial.

Was Henri Lansbury Unlucky To Be Released By Luton Town?
