Leicester City hero Riyad Mahrez set to complete Saudi Arabia transfer

Leicester City title-winner Riyad Mahrez looks set to be the latest player to complete a move to Saudi Arabia this summer, with the Algerian closing in on a transfer.
The winger moved to Manchester City from Leicester in the summer of 2018. With Man City paying a fee of around £60million for the player.
He spent four-and-a-half memorable years at the King Power Stadium. In his first six months with the club, Mahrez helped them to win promotion to the Premier League as Champions, the club then pulled off a memorable escape from relegation, before going on to win the Premier League the following season.
Mahrez was named as PFA player of the year in the 2015/16 title winning season. He also played in the Champions League with City, before moving to the Etihad.
During his time at Man City, the Algerian has gone on to win the Premier League a further four times, and was part of the team who won the treble last season. The former City man worked under now City boss Enzo Maresca with the Italian assistant to Pep Guardiola.
The Athletic report that Mahrez is now set to move to Saudi Arabian side Al Ahil, with the club having agreed a fee with Man City for the 32-year-old. Al Ahil will pay a fee of £30m, half of what City received for Mahrez in 2018, plus £5 million in add-ons.
